The problem

A law firm lives on deadlines that nothing may miss.

Documents scatter

Inboxes, USB sticks, signature books, paper copies. Finding the right version of a submission eats time that cannot be billed.

Deadlines live in heads

Hearings, notifications, limitation periods: as long as the schedule lives in separate diaries, every absence becomes a risk.

The front office re-types

Appointments taken by phone, files opened by hand, the same contact details retyped across three documents. And in the field, whatever is not captured on site is pieced back together from memory on return.

Your profession

Those whose acts carry legal weight.

Three professions, three daily realities: enter through yours.

Bailiffs & judicial officers

The deepest vertical in the range: the whole office, field included.

  • Rounds by sector, geolocated capture, offline
  • Deeds served and reports sealed, four methods traced
  • Segregated third-party funds, over-remittance blocked
  • Fees in brackets, deed register kept automatically

Notaries

Deeds, formalities and client funds: the notary office held by the same proof.

  • Minute book and register of deeds kept in order
  • Every authentic deed versioned, its fingerprint alongside
  • Post-signing formalities on the deadline calendar, automatic reminders
  • Segregated client funds, one balance per file

France and the OHADA zone: jurisdictions, deed templates, fee scales and holidays are configured as data, nothing is hard-coded for a single country.

The solution

Proof first, the rest follows.

DTS Legal seals the deeds, chains the audit log, segregates third-party funds and computes deadlines: the practice proves what it claims.

Proof, by design

Fingerprinted documents

Shared

Every version of a document is immutable and carries its SHA-256 fingerprint: the right submission, provable, right away.

Hash-chained audit log

Shared

Who, what, when: the file's events link into a hash chain. Any alteration is detectable.

Segregated third-party funds

Bailiffs

A dedicated, tamper-proof ledger, one balance per file, and over-remittance blocked automatically, even at two counters at once.

Numbered exhibit schedules

Lawyers

Each communication to the other side goes out under a sequenced, printable schedule, its exhibits linked to the file.

The field & the deadlines

Service rounds

Bailiffs

Deeds to be served are grouped by sector; on site, the bailiff captures geolocation, photo and signature. Four traced methods, from served-in-person to the search report.

Offline field work

Bailiffs

Rounds and reports load onto the phone, are filled in offline, then sync back at the office. No deed lost.

Deadlines computed from service

Shared

The day of the deed does not count, expiry falls on the same day of the month, an extension slides to the first working day: deadlines create themselves, with their reminders.

Decisions tracked through to enforcement

Lawyers

Judgment, appellate ruling or order: outcome, awarded amounts and enforcement move from state to state, from decision to be served through recovery.

The practice's portals

Instructing-party portal

Bailiffs

Creditors, banks and principals file their mandates online, follow the deeds served and the status of the sums recovered.

Controlled client portal

Shared

Each party only accesses what is explicitly opened to them: the opposing party is never visible by default.

Fee scales & register

Bailiffs

Fees are computed in brackets by jurisdiction, France or OHADA, and the deed register keeps itself automatically.

Firm cash desk & dashboard

Shared

Cash received at the front desk has a known holder and an approved remittance before it is booked; the managing bailiff opens a dashboard that follows their rights: files by stage, deeds to serve, third-party funds held, deadlines within seven days; the clerk reads their files, today's round and their reports there.

Deeds & formalities

Notaries

Every authentic deed joins the minute book with its fingerprint, and post-signing formalities follow with their deadlines.

The interface

The whole case, provable document by document.

The file shows its fingerprinted documents, its computed deadlines and its sealed deeds. The associate picking up a case finds everything, with the proof right there.

  • Four traced service methods, up to the search report
  • Geolocated reports with timestamped photos, finalized and sealed
  • Recovered-sums status visible to the instructing party
  • Deed register numbered automatically

Deployment & tailoring

The firm switches over without missing a hearing.

DTS migrates your open files and contact base, sets up your practice areas and deed templates, and trains each role of the firm on its own cases.

1

Scoping

Practice areas, deed templates, roles and the firm's confidentiality rules.

2

Open case files taken over

Open files, contacts and documents imported with their fingerprints, sorted by case.

3

Dress rehearsal

Rounds, sealed deeds and third-party funds tested on the practice's real cases.

4

Everyone at their station

Partners, associates and clerks each trained on their role, with hands-on support.

FAQ

Questions about DTS Legal.

Proof, third-party funds, field work and case migration: what practices check before they switch.
Who can see the documents in a file?
Access is set per role and per file, and every document version carries its SHA-256 fingerprint. On the portal, a party only sees what the practice explicitly opens to them.
What are deeds and reports worth?
Every served deed and finalized report is sealed, timestamped and traceable: service method, geolocation, timestamped photos, dual declared and server timestamps. The hash-chained audit log makes the whole verifiable.
And with no network, out in the field?
The round goes on the phone. Services and reports are captured offline, then sync back at the office; conflicts land in an arbitration quarantine. Nothing gets lost between two buildings.
How are ongoing files migrated?
Open files are imported with their contacts, documents and deadlines, then checked with the practice before the switch. Paper archives are digitised file by file, as they come up.
Do you really cover all three professions, or mostly bailiffs?
All three, on the same base. Bailiffs have the deepest field tooling; lawyers get their deadlines, exhibit schedules and enforcement tracking; notaries their minute book, post-signing formalities and client funds.
